Kar

Running 11m and made in Australia, Kar (2024) is a Drama and Comedy film in the 123movies catalog. The cast includes Nicholas Burton and Essie Randles; Nick Allen directs. A filmmaker wants to make a road movie about ‘fragile masculinity’ that announces him as an Australian auteur. Only problem is: he’s self-funding a short film. This acidic work of self-mockery is built on existential angst and meta-movie hijinks.
